Rob's Ramblings

I'll go ahead and let you in on the good news right away instead of making you wade through all of the other info just to get to the good stuff. Ever get frustrated when the news show says that the story you are waiting for will be next, and then it's not till the end? Yeah, I won't do that to you. The good news is that I am officially funded for Tijuana!! All the money I need is in! Any extra funds that come in will go directly to the spending category such as: meals along the way, and snacks, souvenirs, etc. I'm 4 months away from my trip, and I'm already funded! God is truly good. It's a definite sign that He wants me to go again.

In my last post, I was sharing with you about the arctic front that was hovering over our section of the country. However, things have certainly changed! Over the past week we have seen 70's, and in the coming week we are seeing 60's. It has been wonderful to be able to sit outside or take a nice walk. We are giving our school kids bonus outside recesses in order to give them a mental/physical release at the end of the day. My next-door neighbors sent their grandson over to my garden plot this past week with their roto-tiller and had him churn up the ground. It looks so good! And inviting! However, history has taught me to wait until mid-April before putting anything outside. March and April snowstorms are not uncommon in Kansas. I am looking forward to the day when I can get into the garden and begin my planting. My little pots of seedlings are in a sunny window waiting to be transplanted outside.

In other news, I am still busily getting things in order for my big plan, which I'm hoping I can announce soon. I'm getting a lot of speculation, but I'm not telling.  :-)   All that I can tell you is that this will be a life-changing decision, and one that I have peace about. I'm in a nervous/excitement mode, and hoping that things can be finalized quickly. Because of the sensitivity of the matter, I can't put the info out into social media, but I'm sure asking for prayer that God will get everything in order for things to move forward.

This is a short post, but not a whole lot else has been happening. I thank you for taking the few minutes to check in. Keep checking, as I'm hoping that I can announce my big news soon. God bless you!
